Those who are subjected to violence, threats of violence or harassment in the family are entitled to ask the courts to protect them. This can lead to non-molestation (anti-harassment) orders and orders regulating who can live in the family home. Such orders can also have implications on contact with children.
In these circumstances, it is important to seek the involvement of the court straight away.
Please download our information sheet if you would like more details about domestic violence. Alternatively, you can call Gail, William, Sue, Adam or Simon on 01223 443333 for a confidential initial discussion.
