Parents who do not live together sometimes find it difficult to agree where and with whom the children should live, how often and in what way they should see the parent they do not live with, or matters relating to schooling or medical treatment. This is by no means an exclusive list. We are knowledgeable, respectful and experienced in dealing with all kinds of parenting disputes.

We understand the effect on the children of parents in dispute and the importance of minimising any negative impact for their long term well-being. We work with you to put your children’s needs first, whether the issue is financial or practical.
We regret that we cannot undertake cases that exclusively concern public law (care) proceedings.
Disputes relating to parenting or children’s arrangements can be discussed in mediation, in the collaborative law process, or using traditional solicitor-to-solicitor negotiation techniques and court proceedings if necessary.
Please download our information sheet if you would like more details about resolving a dispute about children. Alternatively, you can call Gail, William, Sue, Adam or Simon on 01223 443333 for a confidential initial discussion.
